Being is a comic fantasy brought to us by Solange, who has traveled from the year 2097 to pull a present-day theater audience into her world for 84 minutes or 5,040 beats of her heart. A mysterious microchip malfunction allows Solange to escape from her futuristic pod of identical beings and take us on an adventure filled with danger, suspense, fun and games, and the possibility of …well, let’s just say that in the year 2097 nobody has had any for decades. As she explores her new freedom, she releases two more beings from her pod, enlists some audience volunteers, encounters a sinister plant, and discovers a level of bliss we can all aspire to attain.
